OUR MISSION

The mission of the Kankakee County Republican Central Committee is to promote our core principles, establish a foundation from which to craft effective messaging, foster outreach to those who share our values, inspire new interest in our Party, and attract qualified like-minded candidates to get involved.

We Believe government must practice fiscal responsibility and allow individuals to keep more of the money that they earn;

We Believe the proper role of government is to provide for the people only those critical functions that cannot be performed by individuals or private organizations, and that the best government is that which governs least;

We Believe the most effective, responsible and responsive government is government closest to the people;

We Believe Americans must retain the principles that have made us strong while developing new ideas to meet the changing times;

We Believe Americans value and should preserve our national strength and pride while working to extend peace, freedom and human rights throughout the world;

We Believe in strengthening families, schools and communities;

We Believe in personal responsibility, rather than government dependency;

We Believe in maintaining a strong national defense second to none;

We Believe in protecting our borders and not allowing undocumented people to enter the United States illegally;

We Believe in holding our elected officials accountable and responsible when spending tax dollars, expecting ethical conduct and preventing the abuse of government power;

We Believe in providing information and motivating our citizens to become more well-informed voters.
